Well since our summer reading theme is reading is so delicious , I though a list of a bunch of movies with great food scenes would be fun. A lot of theses were books first
Chocolat Johnny Depp and chocolate , what more could we want . Good book , too.
Ratatouille Fun for all ages
Julie and Julia about cooking
Like Water for Chocolate food cooked with emotion. Good book too.
Big Night 1950 new york italian restaurant story. Prepare to be hungry.
Fried Green Tomatoes Food is not the focus of this movie, but it is important . another good book, too.
Soul Food bring the family back together with food.
Charlie and the chocolate factory/Willie Wonka and the chocolate factory both the old and the new are fun
Eat Drink Man Woman and Tortilla Soup A father is worried about his unmarried daughters. Eat drink man woman was the first one done – and it is a Chinese family and the second one is a Spanish family.
What are your favorite food movies – and are they based on a book.?

I agree!
This is my official comment for the summer reading program! I liked Julie and Julia, Ratatouille, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Hmmmm food movies based on a book. This doesn’t exactly count but the food and candies in Harry Potter sound good! Except for the Bertie Botts.
well, some of bertie botts would be good, just not everything. I really want to try butter beer
